Easy Grilled Romaine

This is so good! And so easy!

Ingredients:

  • Head of Romaine Lettuce

  • Olive Oil

  • Petite or Cherry Tomatoes - the tri-color tomatoes look pretty

  • Grated Parmesan Cheese or Italian/Romano Cheese Mix

  • Sea Salt

  • Kinder’s Garlic Pepper blend or Montreal steak type seasoning


Instructions:

  1. Cut head of Romaine Lettuce in half

  2. Wash both sides and pat dry

  3. Drizzle olive oil on both sides and sprinkle with seasonings

  4. Place in hot cast iron skillet, hot outdoor grill, or pellet grill for smoky flavor

  5. Sear for about 4-5 minutes on both sides.

  6. Add cheese and tomatoes and cover with a small piece of aluminum foil & turn down to medium for another 3 minutes until cheese melts.

  7. Plate & top with your favorite dressing. We like to use Caesar, Balsamic Vinaigrette or Ranch Dressing.
