Like many couples, becoming empty nesters and retiring shortly after, we are left with a lot of free time on our hands. But, we aren’t ready to slow down - we want to make the most of our time!

Our first mission was to find our spot to enjoy our next chapter. We landed in Hilton Head Island, SC. We cook, entertain, exercise, travel & soak in every sunset we can.

And through it all, we created 5:01 Life - a way to share the joy, inspiration & lifestyle that we’ve come to love.

As business owners, working long hours, we find it’s even more important to embrace and enjoy our free time. That’s why partnering with Joe & Heather in 5:01 Life was such a gift.

While we haven’t reached retirement yet, we still want to achieve a work/life balance that meets our curiosity and energy level. Figuring out how to fill our free time can be a challenge, which is why we are dedicated to exploring more ways to have fun and enjoy our time. Whether it’s working out, riding bikes, going out with friends, cultivating new recipes, taking a painting class, or attempting to try line dancing, we’re game to do it all in hopes that we can inspire others to do the same.

“It’s My Time” isn’t just another saying, it’s a priority and a fulfillment of our right to enjoy life; we hope it becomes yours too!
